His doctoral thesis on “Loss of Profit (The Bases for Dogmatic Construction),” supervised by Luis Díez-Picazo, was unanimously awarded the Cum Laude distinction. Degree in Law from Universidad de Salamanca. Master’s Degree (LL.M) in Corporate Legal Practice from Instituto de Empresa. Associate’s Degree in Foundation Law from Madrid Bar Association. Has worked as a Lawyer at PWC Jurídico y Fiscal and at Clifford Chance. Associate’s Degree from Federico de Castro Legal Practice School. Member of Madrid Bar Association. Graduate of UNED in Civil and Commercial Mediation and in Commercial Arbitration.
Has worked as a Lawyer at Uría & Menéndez, Yacobi Abogados and Ventura Garcés & López-Ibor. He has extensive experience in commercial law, an area in which he stands out for the legal advice he has given national and international companies, both as Secretary of the Board and in corporate transactions. He also has extensive experience in corporate finance transactions and is an expert in mergers and acquisitions, joint venture agreements, and due diligence coordination and debt refinancing, among other transactions. He is highly involved in the stock market and undertakings for collective investment sectors. He currently works as the secretary and legal advisor in various corporations and management companies of collective investment undertakings and open-ended investment companies.

He is a practicing lawyer and member of the Madrid Bar Association since 1987. Degree in Law with postgraduate specialization in Public Economics Law and Competition from Universidad Complutense de Madrid (1982-1988). Master’s Degree in Business Law from the Madrid Business Institute (1989) and PIL from Harvard Law School specializing in the areas of mediation, negotiation and international contracts (1991). Associate’s Degree in Tax Law from Centro de Estudios Tributarios y Económicos de Madrid (1992). Degree in Business Administration from INSEAD (Fontainebleau, 2001) and IMD (Lausanne, 2004).
He developed his professional career as a lawyer at Estudio Legal Abogados in Madrid (1990-1998) and at PWC Jurídico y Fiscal, S.L. (1999-2015), where he became a Partner in 2001 when he was only 32 years old. National Managing Partner of the Transport, Tourism and Services Sector and of the Corporate Governance specialty area at PWC. In May 2016 he joined Redondo-Tassara-Klecker & Co. (RTK Legal Abogados) as a Partner. Specialist in Commercial Corporate Law with significant legal counselling experience in numerous companies with one or more shareholders and for multi-national joint ventures –also as Secretary to the Board of Directors– as regards both day-to-day operations as well as special corporate transactions involving acquisitions, restructuring, mergers, spin-offs, financing, defending insolvency rights, liability of directors, as well as in participative corporate governance structures. He has been highly involved in the transport sector since the beginning of his professional career, and is a specialist in Road Transport and Aviation Law. He has deep knowledge on international transactions in the commercial aviation sector, from the perspective of both Spanish and EU regulations and from both the aircraft operator and lessor sides. Proven experience with aircraft purchase, financing and refinancing agreements as well as registration in Spain of fleets for first-class national airlines.
